The platform’s cutting-edge language models may be used to construct summaries utilizing the first feature, Meeting summary, which is available to Zoom Meeting hosts. There is no need to record the full chat because these summaries may be distributed to team members through email and Team Chat.
The hosts get automated summaries, which they may subsequently send to participants and others who were unable to attend the meeting. This feature encourages better teamwork and increases overall productivity.
Smita Hashim, chief product officer of Zoom, emphasized the importance of these new features and said that they enable teams to increase efficiency in their daily work. Teams may devote more time to creative work and increase collaboration by using generative AI assistant technology.
Users of Team Chat may write messages using the second feature, Chat compose, which is powered by OpenAI’s generative AI engine. This feature gives users the ability to modify the tone, length, and wording of messages based on the context of the Team Chat thread. Users can improve team communication by personalizing text recommendations.
Customers must go to the Zoom admin interface and choose the appropriate free trials for each feature in order to use these functionalities.
Additionally, the business said that features driven by generative AI are now under development. These upcoming features will allow users to generate whiteboard material, organize ideas, summarize Team Chat topics, and write email content.
