Alia Bhatt has made a decisive move to safeguard her daughter Raha’s privacy by removing almost all her pictures from Instagram, ensuring that only those without her face remain. While many might have expected disappointment from fans, the response has been overwhelmingly supportive.
A glance through Alia’s Instagram now reveals no clear images of Raha. Even the previously shared pictures from their Jamnagar trip and the family’s Paris vacation have been deleted. However, Raha is still subtly present in Alia’s New Year’s Day photo album, though her face remains concealed.
On Reddit, Alia’s decision has been met with approval. A user known for frequently criticizing the actress surprisingly admitted, “100% support her here. Never a fan of Alia. Mostly a critic, lol. But there are too many creeps and weirdos on the net. As a parent—whatever she feels as a protective action—she should do it.” Another user echoed similar sentiments, stating, “Honestly, a good decision, and now I hope the paps will realise this and stop bothering them all the time, respect the kid’s privacy and the parents’ decision.”
Speculation has also arisen that a recent incident involving actor Saif Ali Khan and his son Jeh may have influenced Alia’s choice. In January, Saif was reportedly attacked at his home while trying to protect Jeh from an intruder. A Redditor noted, “Saif-Jeh incident has affected them. They have also informed the paparazzi not to click Raha henceforth. Good for them.”
Alia herself has taken steps to directly address the media regarding her stance. In a recent paparazzi video, she was seen approaching photographers and asking them to turn off their cameras so she could speak with them. While the details of their conversation remain unknown, fans speculate that she urged them to refrain from capturing images of Raha.
