Delhi Shop Offers Customers To Pay With Rs 2K Note & Take Goods Of Rs 2100

A true businessman is one who is not just able to find solutions to problems but has the knack of creating opportunities from those problems as well and the owner of one meat shop in Delhi certainly has this ability.

If you are not living under the rock, then you must be aware that the Indian government has decided to withdraw Rs. 2000 currency note from the market and for this purpose, they have asked the public to either deposit these notes in bank or they can exchange them as well. However, there are many who are spending their Rs. 2000 notes for buying jewelry or paying for petrol but there is one meat shop in Delhi which is taking notes of Rs. 2000 from customers and giving the goods worth Rs. 2100.

The shop is in GTB nagar and they have pasted a poster in front of their shop which read, “Give us Rs. 2000 Note and Take Goods of Rs. 2100 from Sardar, a Pure Meat Shop, G.T.B Nagar.”

A Twitter user Sumit Agarwal who holds the post of National Secretary & Convenor Youth Wing in Confederation of All India Traders, shared the photo on the micro-blogging site with caption, “If you think RBI is smart, think again cos Delhites are much smarter. What an innovative way to increase your sales! #2000Note”.

Soon Twitter was flooded with reactions as people appreciated the business sense of the meat shop owner:

Now this is called smart business!
