On Friday, September 1, sources revealed that Public Sector Oil Marketing Companies (OMCs) had decreased the price of 19 KG Commercial LPG Gas Cylinders by Rs 158, days after the price of Domestic LPG was dropped.
The most recent pricing will take effect right away. The cost of the commercial LPG cylinder weighing 19 kg is Rs 1,522.
On the occasion of Raksha Bandhan, the Center reduced the cost of domestic LPG by Rs 200.
Every month, LPG (liquefied petroleum gas) cylinder prices are revised, with the new rates taking effect on September 1 for both household and commercial LPG cylinders.
The OMCs had reduced the cost of commercial LPG cylinders by Rs 99.75 earlier in the month. Commercial LPG gas cylinder costs increased by Rs 7 apiece in July.
In May and June of this year, there were two consecutive price reductions for commercial LPG cylinders.
While OMCs cut the cost of a commercial LPG cylinder by Rs 172 in May, they only cut it by Rs 83 in June.
In April, the costs were decreased by Rs 91.50 per unit.
Domestic LPG cylinder prices increased by Rs. 50 per unit and commercial LPG cylinder prices increased by Rs. 350.50 per unit on March 1 of this year.
