The Indian serial Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah is nowadays in the news for all the wrong reasons as the actress Jennifer Mistry Bansiwal has accused the show’s producer Asit Kumarr Modi of sexual harassment at the workplace. She has also named project head Sohail Ramani and executive producer Jatin Bajaj in her complaint.
However, she was a little upset after some reports suggested that she was in a physical relationship with Asit Kumarr Modi. Jennifer slammed the channels and media houses for spreading fake news and also made it clear that Modi said things verbally only. She also asked the media not to malign anyone’s image or character by showing fake news.
During an interview, Jennifer asked as to why Modi and his team were completely silent about her bad behaviour and indiscipline until she came out and talked about her side of the story. On 4th April, Jennifer had sent a draft to three of them after which they accused the actress of trying to extort money from them.
On 8th April, a legal notice was sent by her which is being investigated as of now and on 8th May, she registered a police case. She also stated that money is not her intention and she wants an apology from three of them.
Jennifer has stated that Modi used to talk about her lips and pull her cheeks and once he invited her in the hotel room for a drink when they went to Singapore for a shoot.
