The Kerala High Court is now hearing a lawsuit against Bollywood star Sunny Leone and her husband Daniel Weber, and the judge has issued a significant remark.
In a cheating case, the Kerala High Court ruled in favour of halting criminal proceedings against actress Sunny Leone, her husband Daniel Weber, and their staff. The Court stated verbally that there is no criminal case against Sunny and that she is being harassed needlessly.
The bench stated their willingness to conclude the matter. What is the criminal violation in this, the bench asked? You’re bothering her unnecessarily. I’m thinking about calling it a day. Finally, the judge deferred the case until March 31, stating that the inquiry might proceed.
On November 16, 2022, the court suspended criminal proceedings against the three after a case was filed against them for cheating on the allegation of an event manager from Kerala, who claimed Sunny was compelled to participate in events and act despite being paid millions of rupees to do so.
Sunny and others have petitioned the High Court, stating that she was innocent and that even if the charges were true, the accused violation would not be committed. According to her appeal, the complainant has not experienced any loss as a result of the petitioners, but the situation is negatively affecting the petitioners’ lives.
According to the petition, the complainant filed a civil complaint with the same charges, but it was dismissed by the magistrate’s court in July 2022 due to a lack of proof. As a result, she petitioned the High Court for a stay of proceedings against her.
