Meet the Mumbai moms who gave healthy twist to snacks with multi-grains, got 50000 customers

Two women from Mumbai named Anchal Abrol and Priya Puri developed a healthy snacks brand called Snaqary. The company’s retail and online offers have so far attracted more than 50,000 consumers.

Two friends from Mumbai, Anchal Abrol and Priya Puri struggled to find nutritious and appetizing snacks for their families. They decided to create a brand of nutritious snacks that does not use any artificial preservatives and instead relies on traditional ingredients and natural flavors.

Anchal and Priya founded Snaqary, a snack company that uses traditional ingredients and does not contain any artificial preservatives or trans fat. The company provides a variety of snacks, such as multigrain sticks, roasted seeds, baked biscotti, soya-coated peanuts, roasted khakhra, roasted chickpeas, and many more, with prices ranging from 10 to 200 rupees.

Anchal, and her team developed a collection of snacks that were produced using organic, plant-based, and conventional components. They curated a collection of snacks that span a wide variety of categories, including classic, baked snacks, roasted snacks, sauces and dips, puris, sev, sticks, and seeds.

They came to the conclusion that multigrain should be the foundation of their product line, and they developed ready-to-eat Bajra puris (made of pearl millet) in four distinct flavors: methi, palak, peri peri, and cream and onion.

The base for their puris is made with bajra flour rather than wheat flour, and they increase the flavor by including a variety of spices and greens, such as methi and palak. A small amount of maida is still necessary in order to bind the ingredients together.

Shrishti Singh has been a customer of Snaqary for the past year and her favorite item is the baked bakarwadi. The absence of artificial preservatives and high-quality construction are the two features that stand out most about their products. The company’s retail and online offers have already attracted more than 50,000 consumers, and their products are available on e-commerce platforms such as Amazon and Big Basket, in addition to their own website.          

Snaqary currently provides over 50,000 consumers with access to over 35 different goods across the country. The first thing that needs to be done in order to launch a snack food company is to develop a comprehensive list of available items.
