Mukesh Ambani’s Reliance Retail has partnered with General Mills to introduce Allen’s Bugels. This packaged snack, which is manufactured by General Mills, will be introduced by Reliance Retail to the Indian market.
The Mukesh Ambani-led Reliance Retail Group is making significant headway in its expansion efforts. In addition to entering the business of producing and selling namkeens and snacks, Reliance has also recently entered the market of producing and selling cold drinks, having previously acquired Campa Cola. By forming a partnership with General Mills, the retail arm of the Reliance Group, known as Reliance Retail (RCPL), has entered the market for Namkeen and other snack food. General Mills is a leading food processing corporation in the United States.
On Friday, Reliance Consumer Products Limited (RCPL), a subsidiary of Reliance Retail, made its first step into the western snacking industry by introducing the brand Allen’s Bugels to the Indian market. Allen’s Bugels is a product manufactured by General Mills. The two businesses announced their partnership in a statement that read, “For the very first time, lovers of salty, chip-like products will be able to enjoy Corn Chips from the international brand Bugles.”
Allen’s Bugels is the name of the brand that RCPL will use when it launches Global Tests in India. According to the information provided by the manufacturer, these chips will be offered in a variety of flavors, including Basic (Salted), Tomato, and Cheese, at an inexpensive price beginning at Rs.10.
This General Mills brand has been around for half a century and can be found in key markets all over the world, such as the United Kingdom, the United States, and the Middle East. RCPL is going to offer snacks marketed under the brand name Allen’s Bugles with flavors including Namkeen, Tomato, and Cheese. The Allen’s Bugles brand will make its debut for the first time in Kerala before being gradually introduced to the rest of the country.
