Raveena Tandon is one of the most beautiful actresses that we have ever seen on the big screen and it won’t be wrong to say that she was one of the hottest actresses of her time. She has done quite a few sensual songs in her career but Tip Tip Barsa Paani from the movie Mohra definitely comes first on the list.
In this track, Raveena is seen with actor Akshay Kumar with whom she also had an affair but she broke up with him because as per Raveena, Akshay was cheating on her. The song was sung by famous singers Udit Narayan and Alka Yagnik and in a recent interview, Raveena revealed the conditions that she put forth before shooting for Tip Tip Barsa Paani.
Raveena stated, “I was very clear that my saree will not come off, this will not happen, that will not happen, there’ll be no kissing, there’ll be no nothing. So, there were a lot of cross marks rather than tick marks on that song, and eventually we came up with something that was Tip Tip (Tip Tip Barsa Pani), which was a correct balance of sensuality, more than anything else.”
While talking about the sensual songs that she had done, Raveena said, “They were sensuous songs, yes, there was nothing overtly sexual about it. I always believed there is a thin line between in-your-face sexuality and sensuality.”
Though the song Tip Tip Barsa Paani was shot again for the movie Sooryavanshi (2021) featuring Akshay Kumar and Katrina Kaif, audiences still prefer to watch the track that features Raveena and Akshay.
