Two days after the shocking attack on Saif Ali Khan, the Bandra police and Mumbai Crime Branch have not yet arrested the suspect. The latest update in the case comes from CCTV footage, which shows the accused buying headphones from a store in Dadar at 9 p.m. on the day of the attack.
After the attack on Saif Ali Khan at his residence, the suspected attacker was spotted buying headphones at a mobile store called ‘Iqra,’ located near Lakshmi Hotel in Dadar.

The Mumbai Crime Branch reviewed CCTV footage from the Lakshmi Hotel area in Dadar after arriving at the location around 9 p.m. last night.
Earlier, two other images had surfaced: one from a CCTV camera on the sixth-floor staircase, showing the suspect fleeing from Saif Ali Khan’s house after the stabbing. The second image captured him at Bandra Station, wearing a blue shirt, following an attempted burglary at Khan’s Bandra West apartment. In the third image, the suspected attacker is seen wearing a yellow t-shirt.

In another CCTV clip, the suspect was spotted near Bandra Railway Station, now wearing different clothes and walking with his hands folded. He seemed anxious about being caught on camera, but it was his Fastrack bag that ultimately gave him away.
The man remained in the Bandra area for almost five hours after attacking Saif Ali Khan, and the footage, captured at 7:00 a.m., marks the fourth sighting of the suspect as the police search continues into the third day.
Earlier footage showed him wearing a yellow shirt, followed by a blue shirt, near Bandra Railway Station. He was seen wearing the same blue shirt later at a mobile store in Dadar.
The police are working to trace the suspect by analyzing CCTV footage and other available sources. They are also reviewing the track records of almost 2,000 mobile towers to gather more information.
