The Pakistani pacer Shaheen Afridi is undoubtedly one of the best pacers of the world at present and recently he became the first skipper to win back-to-back PSL trophies as the PSL team Lahore Qalandars won the PSL 2023 under his captaincy.
Lahore Qalandars clinched last ball victory over Multan Sultans in the finals of the PSL 2023 and it is certainly a great thing for the team and the skipper as well but still Shaheen Afridi’s father-in-law Shahid Afridi has asked the former not to call him Sasur (Father-in-law) and he doesn’t want to hear the word “Sasur” from him again.
For the unversed, Pakistan’s star pacer got married to Ansha, daughter of Pakistan’s former skipper Shahid Afridi in February 2023.
It happened during an interview in which Shahid Afridi asked Shaheen Afridi not to call him Sasur and reason that Shahid gave was, “So if he has won trophy (in PSL for Lahore Qalandars), I have also won the trophy in Qatar (Legends League Cricket).”
Shahid Afridi led Asia Lions in the Legends League Cricket and his team defeated World Giants in the finals by 7 wickets.
