The winner’s name was revealed at the glittering event held in Mumbai on 20th July amidst much fanfare.

VARSHNEY has emerged as a bright entrepreneur who has inspired change using her personal experience or from a leadership position. She has set a benchmark for excellence in India through her incredible architectural projects executed worldwide. Sthapati Associates India, a firm headquartered in New Delhi and Lucknow, is presently counted among India’s top Architectural Consultancy firms.
She completed her Bachelor’s degree in Architecture from the University of Lucknow in 1988. After completing her degree program, she pursued her Masters’s in Urban Planning at the Institute of Town Planners, India. Moreover, the expert architect has received multiple fellowships from reputed institutes such as the Indian Institute of Town Planners, New Delhi, Indian Institute of Architects, Mumbai and Indian Institute of Interior Designers.
VIPUL is also a member of AA School of Architecture, London, Executive committee International Council for Monuments and Sites, India, and is associated with top state & national level cultural and Heritage Architects Association or councils.
VIPUL B. VARSHNEY has designed Malls, Complexes, Hospitals, Universities, and Infrastructure projects throughout the country. Some of her most famous works include

The woman architect is looked at highly as an academician. Her books, journals, and papers are presented at international & national forums. Some of her popular coffee table books are LUCKNOW_THE CITY OF CULTURE, Shaam- e – Awadh, & MUSINGS IN BENARES. Presently, VIPUL B. VARSHNEY is the Visiting Faculty at Amity University, Lucknow. Earlier she was the Professor (DESIGN CHAIR) past, Integral University, Department of Architecture, Lucknow for the academic year 2015-16 and then during 2006-2012; she was a visiting Faculty at AA School of Architecture, UCLA, London; AKTU, faculty of Architecture, Lucknow.
The self-made women have been creating awareness and promoting art, culture and heritage issues by organising exhibitions, festivals and workshops on near-extinct arts & crafts. VIPUL B. VARSHNEY established a non-profit organisation, Gallery D’ Art, in Lucknow in 1997 to achieve her goal. Till now, she has organised and curated more than 100 solo and group shows for Artists, Artisans, sculptors and craftsmen from contemporary to folk and tribal art from all over India and abroad.
