The beautiful actress Malaika Arora is once again making news as there are strong rumours that she and Arjun Kapoor have finally parted ways after being in relationship for quite a few years.
Malaika was earlier married to Arbaaz Khan with whom she has a son named Arhaan. They got married in 1998 and undoubtedly, they made one of the most adorable couples of their times. But things went haywire in their marriage and they decided to get divorced after 19 years.
Some time back during a show, Malaika talked about her divorce and how her family asked her not to do it. She said, “I think, sab ki pehli yehi raai hai ki mat karna. Koi aapko nahi kahega ki, ‘Haan, haan, please jayiye, kariye.’ That’s the first thing, ki aap soch samajh ke yeh decision lena. I went through the same thing.”
She also revealed what happened just a night before divorce she said, “Even the night before I got divorced, I had my family sit with me and ask me yet again, ‘Are you sure? Are you 100 percent about your decision?’ These are the people who worry and care so they will definitely say that. Everybody said, ‘If this is the decision that you’re making, then we’re really proud of you and in our eyes, you are a strong woman.’ So for me, that kind of gave me that extra strength that I needed.”
That must be a tough decision!
