The Indian cricket team will be playing a 3-match ODI series against Sri Lanka after whitewashing the 3-match T20I series and with this, the senior Indian cricketers Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli have made a comeback in the team.
Both the senior cricketers have taken retirement from the T20I format but just ahead of the first ODI while addressing the mediapersons, Rohit Sharma said something which made many of his fans believe that he is thinking of coming out of T20I retirement.
Rohit Sharma played last international match on 29 June, the final of the T20 World Cup 2024 and during the press conference, he said, “This is what I feel like till now. I felt like I’ve been rested for the T20s, like it used to happen earlier and there will be a big tournament coming up and we have to get ready to T20s again. Still feel it is like that. So I don’t think I’m completely out of the format.”
