Woman Quit Job At LinkedIn For World Tour A Year Ago, Explored 12 Countries

This woman left her job at LinkedIn for following her passion. There is no denying the fact that a person should follow his/her passion in life because it increases his/her chances of achieving success which lays the foundation of a great life.

However, not everyone is lucky enough to be able to follow passion but Aakanksha Monga was determined to follow her dreams, so she left her job at LinkedIn for the purpose of travelling the world. Exploring the world is Aakanksha Monga’s passion and recently she took to the micro-blogging site Twitter and told that she left her job exactly one year back and what she had and what she promised to herself at that time.

Aakanksha tweeted, “I quit my job at LinkedIn. Last year, on this very date. When I left, I promised to give myself 1 year to focus on my passion and travel the world full time. When I left I was burnt out,had 250k followers on IG, worked alone. Want to know how it’s going now?”

In her second tweet, Aakanksha explained how many countries she travelled and what else she achieved in one year. She wrote, “1 year later: 250K TO 700K+ community, Traveled across 12 countries (8 of them solo!), Built a team of 6 people, building TravelAMore!, Shot & posted 300+ videos, Worked with 30+ brands, Still burn out sometimes, longer work hours. But I followed my truth.”

We pray that everyone gets the chance to follow their passion just like Aakanksha Monga. You go girl!
