India and Australia will meet in the World Test Championship (WTC) final beginning on June 7. Each nation’s team has been revealed ahead of this important encounter. The Indian team will attempt to win the trophy by beating Australia this year after losing to New Zealand in the previous edition of this intense contest.

But once the team was revealed, uproar erupted once more on social media. The selection of some cricket players and the omission of some players has angered cricket fans.

Sarfaraz Khan, a young batsman, is in the news. Once more, Sarfaraz was denied a spot in the Indian Test team. Sarfaraz’s statistics show that he has scored runs of 3505 in 37 first class (red ball) matches at an average of over 80.

His bat has scored 851 runs in eight innings during the previous five matches, which include three centuries and also one half-century. After doing well in the Ranji Trophy, it was thought that he would be given a shot in the Border-Gavaskar Trophy, however he was once again passed over.

Sarfaraz Khan’s lack of a chance has sparked outrage on social media. Over Sarfaraz, Ajinkya Rahane was given an opportunity in the team. Rahane fared admirably in the IPL 2023, but just averagely in the previous Ranji Trophy. However, the supporters are outraged by the selection committee’s choice. On social media, several reactions to Sarfaraz are becoming viral.
