Ex-Pakistan cricketer faces trouble twice for commenting on Virat, Umran Malik

0

A former Pakistan fast bowler recently landed himself in hot water after making a comment against Virat Kohli. At the same time, he refused to back down, and his comment about Umran Malik is now being debated.

Umran Malik has carved up a new persona for himself in the year since IPL 2022. Along with his pace, the world is beginning to appreciate his wicket-taking skills. This is why, since his international debut in June 2022, Umran has appeared in 8-8 ODIs and T20 Internationals for India. His participation in Team India’s white ball team is gradually being secured. Team India’s management is not going to leave any stone unturned in nurturing him. The most notable aspect of his bowling is his speed. Despite the fact that numerous fast bowlers arrived to India, this level of raw speed was never discovered.

But, with the addition of Umran Malik, Team India now has a weapon whose pace might terrify the front batsmen. He can bowl at a consistent pace of 145 to 150 kilometres per hour. He has captured 13 ODI and 11 T20 wickets for India so far. During the Sri Lanka series, he also set an international record by throwing the ball at the fastest speed of 156 kmph for India. Whereas Dale Steyn, Wasim Akram, and Brett Lee have become fans of his bowling, a former Pakistan fast bowler has slammed him. Former Pakistan cricketer Sohail Khan recently detailed an event involving Virat Kohli, which catapulted him into the spotlight. He has now made a remark on Umran.

Sohail Khan stated in a podcast that if you think of 150-155 kmph bowlers, he can name 12 to 15 guys that now play tape-ball cricket. If you go to the trials of Lahore Qalandars in the PSL, you will see several guys like this. There are many people like him (Umran Malik). We’re swamped with domestic cricket. While approaching his top speed, Sohail stated that no human being could break Akhtar’s record. Only the bowling machine has the potential to beat his record.

Sohail had already discussed the comments made concerning Virat Kohli. He narrated a tale about Virat on this episode. It was during a match between India and Pakistan that Virat and Sohail exchanged some words.

Sohail informed Virat at the time that his father used to play Test cricket when he was under-19. Following this comment, Sohail became embroiled in controversy. This is due to Virat Kohli’s participation in the Under-19 World Cup in 2006-07. On January 30, 2008, Sohail Khan made his Test debut for Pakistan. In August of the same year, Virat made his Test debut. Sohail was mocked on social media for making these stats up.

Personality Development Suggestions: The individual who says no is frequently seen repenting. That is why it is believed that one should establish a practise of not speaking, particularly at work.

There are several downsides to never saying ‘no’ at work. It is essential to say no, whether in personal or professional life. One thing is clear at the office: the individual who always says ‘yes’ gets one job after another. Being unable to say no becomes a part of a person’s nature, and there comes a moment when those in front of them expect the person who has never said no to do so even now. There are several more downsides to not saying no, even if it is beneficial to develop the practise of saying no.

When you say yes to everything, your workload grows, and your stress level rises. Many times, this tension becomes so severe that it causes health concerns.

When you do not decline any task and always say yes, people have higher expectations of you at the company. Whether it’s your employer or a coworker, people begin to suspect that whether anything happens or not, you will not say no. They raise their expectations as a result, and when you say no, they have difficulties processing it.

There are numerous such tasks that do not help you, yet you must complete them because you are unable to say no. Many times, you are asked to do more work than you are paid for.

People are unable to say no at work in order to satisfy everyone or maintain a good reputation. However, it is critical to realise when it is vital to say no. If you are unable to say no, you are required to work excessively and this task beyond your capabilities, and you are exhausted, realise that you should say no. Even if you have to work by battering your thoughts, you must say no.

If you feel like saying no, but you are saying yes to please the person in front of you or to increase your own load to satisfy the boss, recognise that you must say no. You should fortify yourself and begin saying no. If you begin to feel anxious after saying yes to every activity, this is an indication that you should begin saying no.

Harish and Rashmi Closepet, a Bengaluru-based couple, have been running a thriving women’s apparel firm for over 20 years. They have effectively given work for over 2000 women, as well as entertaining activities in the lives of thousands of individuals worldwide.

Crafting has always been a delightful hobby for any youngster during their school years, but Harish and Rashmi Closepet considered taking it a step further.

Scrapbooking developed in Utah, United States, and became enormously popular in the 1960s. Card making and mixed media [an art style formed by combining diverse media such as ink, paint, and water colours] had also grown prominent around that time, but it has recently had a renaissance and has become immensely popular.

Harish and Rashmi Closepet, a Bengaluru-based couple, were persuaded to turn this enjoyable hobby into a full-fledged company. They have effectively given work for over 2000 women, as well as entertaining activities in the lives of thousands of individuals worldwide.

They stunned everyone by converting this enjoyable childhood sport into their preferred company, with a revenue of Rs. 64 crore. Through their two enterprises, AEC Offshore Pvt. Ltd. and Itsy Bitsy Pvt. Ltd., they manufacture, sell, and export the art.

Rashmi is a homoeopath by training, and her husband works as an engineer. They had left their prosperous life in Australia ten years ago and returned to Bengaluru. They desired to work for a cause that would benefit society. They chose to assist rural women by assisting them in becoming self-sufficient and standing on their own via the use of crafts.

They have expanded their work into acrylic paints, home décor, and jewellery, in addition to their original concentration on handmade goods. They established training facilities for women in regions like Mandya, Chamarajanagar, and Hesaraghatta and taught them how to make handmade paper.

The pair began with 40 female employees and has now grown to about 2000 female employees. They originally entered the retail industry in 2007 with the opening of their first Itsy Bitsy store in Bengaluru. They now have roughly 21 Itsy Bitsy stores in seven different states across the country, with 11 of them in Bengaluru and the rest distributed across cities such as Chennai, Mumbai, Delhi, and Hyderabad. Despite the fact that it took them some time to work things out, the dedicated and loving pair did not give up on their aspirations.

Rashmi describes how their female employees approach them and tell them how they had established their own homes, successfully educated their children, and begun to live life on their terms.

Both of them are overjoyed and satisfied that their ambition of making our community a better place has come true. They prove that if we are determined to achieve anything, we will always find a way to do it.

Angel tax may have negative impact on foreign funding in Indian startups

0

Foreign investors such as Sequoia Capital, Softbank, Prosus, Tiger Global, Carlyle, KKR, and Blackstone will now be required to pay an ‘angel tax’ to Indian entrepreneurs. The decision may have a negative influence on funding as well as prompting more firms to go outside.

Indian businesses that raise cash from international investors such as Sequoia Capital, Softbank, Prosus, Tiger Global, Carlyle, KKR, and Blackstone will now have to pay a ‘angel tax,’ which may not only reduce investment but also encourage more startups to go outside.

The finance minister announced the Union Budget on Tuesday, saying that non-residents will now be subject to Section 56(2) VII B, sometimes known as the ‘angel tax,’ which was adopted in 2012 as an anti-abuse tool aimed at tax evasion.

Alternative investment funds registered with India’s market regulator, the Securities and Exchange Board of India (Sebi), are immune from angel tax.

This is going to be difficult for businesses that are already facing a worldwide funding crisis, given the majority of their cash has come from international investors.

According to Siddarth Pai, cofounder of venture capital company 3one4 Capital, this might force more firms to sell offshore since international investors may not want to deal with higher tax liabilities as a result of their involvement in the startup.

Is it necessary for India to have two time zones? The national timekeeper has added fresh arguments

0

Yes, you read it correctly: India has two time zones! It is not the first time that the desire for two time zones has been voiced in India. According to India’s national timekeeper, the country might have two time zones: IST-I for the majority of the country and IST-II, with an hour difference, for the Northeastern regions.

According to India’s national timekeeper, the country might have two time zones: IST-I for the majority of the country and IST-II, with an hour difference, for the North-eastern regions.

The North-eastern parts of India have been requesting two time zones, citing the negative effects of India’s single time zone.

According to an article released by CSIR-NPL, India’s official timekeeper, following two time zones will save the country 20 million kWh of energy each year.

While the CSIR-NPL supports the implementation of two time zones in the country, there is another side of the coin that sheds light on its complications, such as mismatches in office timings, frequent railway accidents, and the fact that the functioning of not only the Indian railway, but the railway of every country, is based on timings.

Despite the freshly ignited debate, the Central Government has reiterated that no decision has been made on the introduction of two time zones in the nation.

Strange but True: Parents abandon their child at airport without any ticket

0

A couple went through the identical procedure at an airport, and what occurred next will leave you speechless. When we were kids, our parents would never buy us a bus or train ticket and say, ‘our kids will sit on our lap’. Now that we’re talking about free baby travel, it doesn’t fully work in planes.

The pair, who were flying from Tel Aviv, Israel, to Brussels, Belgium, arrived late at Ben Gurion Airport to join a Ryanair aircraft because the check-in office had closed.

They refused to pay for another ticket, checked in with their kid in the stroller, and attempted to board the aircraft without the infant.

A manager working at the Ryanair counter observed this bizarre scenario and was taken aback.

The event was quickly reported to the police, and the parents were arrested at the airport before they could travel to Brussels.
