Tilak Verma is a resident of Hyderabad, who was fond of playing cricket as almost every child is in childhood. One day Tilak was playing with tennis ball and coach Salaam Bayesh was watching him. After the game was over Salaam asked Tilak for which club do you play. He replied that I come here to play on Sundays.. Tilak was 11 years old at that time.. Tilak Verma’s father Namburi Nagraj was an electrician by profession, he used to earn a living by doing electrical work but his status was son Tilak Coach Salaam Bayash had full faith in himself that this boy would one day become a big player.

But Tilak came into the public eye by scoring two centuries in the 2020-21 Vijay Hazare Trophy and Mumbai Indians bought Tilak in the 2022 auction for 1 crore 70 lakhs, his base price was 20 lakhs and he was an uncapped player. Since then, Tilak Verma has been doing consistently well for Mumbai Indians.

In 2022, Tilak’s score was 397 runs in 14 IPL matches at a strike rate of 130, while this year in 2023, he scored 248 runs in 8 matches at a strike rate of 150.  It is rumored that the Mumbai Indians are preparing Tilak to take over as captain.

Ayushmann Khurrana has the image of an unconventional actor and he recently gives credit of the same to Ranbir Kapoor and Ranveer Singh. Ayushmann Khurrana is one of the most versatile and talented actors of the industry and he has made a place for himself in Bollywood, thanks to his distinctive choice of films and roles which are not conventional and rather the ones breaking stereotypes and setting new standards.

The actor also discloses why he opts for unconventional roles, “I think in every era there has been space for every kind of character, every kind of actor. In the 2010s there was a definite void for an actor who was also a character, especially, around the time Vicky Donor happened (2012). The protagonist was there in an unconventional film which did commercially well. Ranbir Kapoor had just made his debut.

At the time there was this void of actors in their 20s as most of them were in their 30s and 40s.” Ayushmann goes on to say, “When Ranbir made his debut, I was like, ‘Yeah to aa gaya, ab mein kya karunga?’ Then Ranveer Singh came into the industry in 2010/11 and again it made me think… ‘Yeh bhi aa gaya ab mein kya karunga?’ I had no option but to take the unconventional path and fortunately, it worked for me. I was an anchor on television, and Shoojit Sircar saw something in me (for Vicky Donor).

I didn’t even audition for that film, and it all started there.” Ayushmann says that he is obsessed with the whole story of the movie and not just his own character,
“In my films, I am not really obsessed with my own character, I am obsessed with the whole story.

I may not be the main driver of the story, the characters around me are also very strong, whether it is Jaideep Ahlawat in An Action Hero, Rajkummar Rao in Bareilly Ki Barfi, Gajraj Rao and Neena Gupta in Badhaai Ho or Bhumi Pednekar in Dum Laga Ke Haisha.”

Ayushmann also says that he will like to explore the genre of horror comedy, “A horror comedy might happen soon. I am excited and yes it will have that quirk in it. It has to be different, otherwise it won’t excite me.”

On the work front, Ayushmann’s upcoming flick is “Dream Girl 2” that will release on 25th August will also star Ananya Panday.

The software entrepreneur spoke candidly about the failures and achievements of the April 20 launch on Saturday in a subscribers-only Twitter Space. According to the media, Musk stated that without acquiring more funds, SpaceX will spend around $2 billion building the Starship rocket in 2023.

Michael Sheetz, a space correspondent for CNBC, live-tweeted the debate led by the CEO of Twitter. The creator of SpaceX stated, according to Sheetz, “We do not anticipate needing to raise funding… we don’t think we need to raise funding.”

Fans were eagerly waiting for an update on Shah Rukh Khan’s next release Jawan but there has been silence from SRK and Red Chillies Entertainment and now it’s speculated to released on this date.


Shah Rukh Khan’s fans got a treat from the superstar as his last flick “Pathaan” was superhit and it also ended the drought as SRK’s “Zero” bombed at the box-office and after that, he didn’t do any movie for some time. After “Pathaan”, fans were desperately waiting for “Jawan” which was slated to hit the theatres on 2nd June.

So it was expected that the promotional activities of the flick would start in the first week of May itself but the latest developments suggest that “Jawan” may not release on the scheduled date.

Here’s what a source told an entertainment portal,
“The fact that the teaser or trailer of Jawan isn’t out yet and that there has been no intimation from Red Chillies Entertainment as to when the promotions will start have added to the speculation that Jawan is getting postponed.”
If the latest reports are to be believed, “Jawan” will release on 29th June, Thursday.

“If it releases on the 29th, it can have a four-day weekend and also get the advantage of the Bakri Eid holiday on its release day. Moreover, Siddharth Malhotra-starrer Yodha and Ayushmann Khurana-starrer Dream Girl 2 were slated to arrive in cinemas on July 7. Both got pushed last week. Many believed that these movies were postponed as they don’t want to get in the way of the Jawan wave.”
