Shark Tank India: perfora bags Rs 80 lakh funding

Perfora, a digital-first dental care firm, has acquired Rs 80 lakh in finance for 2.5 percent ownership from three Shark Tank India 2 sharks.

Perfora, an oral and personal care business, has received aRs lakh investment from Lenskart CEO PeyushBansal, Emcure Pharmaceuticals executive director NamitaThapar, and Sugar Cosmetics co-founder Vineeta Singh. For the investment on Season 2 of Shark Tank India, the company gave a 2.5% ownership share in the company.

Perfora raised the cash at a value of Rs 32 crore and would utilise the capital to further its R&D, distribution, and brand growth. The business hopes to reach 10 million Indian consumers in the next two years and now serves 22,000 clients each month with a 40% retention rate.

perfora has its sights set on the rest of India, with ambitions to grow into the Top Ten Indian Cities over the next three to six months, including Mumbai, Bangalore, Hyderabad, Jaipur, and Chandigarh. This expansion is intended to boost income. perfora hopes to generate a revenue total of Rs 350 crore to Rs 400 crore in five years and to be present at between 25,000 and 30,000 retail touch-points across the country.
