Rashmika is a sweetheart, and I adore her. She is an excellent friend. Through sharing so many experiences, such as many highs and many lows, a friendship is formed. Because you are typically brought into close proximity so quickly, bonds form much more quickly. It would normally take me a while just to sit and look a girl in the eye.
According to an exclusive story, Rashmika and Vijay split up a few years ago, but the box office flop of “Liger” drew them back together.

Know how CSS Founder has helped small business’ digitization via website design

0

CSS Founder uses website design to assist small companies get digital. The firm, which was founded in 2016, offers website design and development services with a strong emphasis on quality. It has so far built almost 12,000 websites.

Amity University alumnus Imaran Khan discovered that there was no significant Indian website designer brand that catered to the demands of small businesses. In 2014, he founded Css Founder, named after the stylesheet language used to create website displays.  The Noida-based firm develops and builds websites, integrating high-level UI/UX designs with online solutions targeted to the needs of all businesses—startups, SMEs, and huge corporations.

Imaran, a serial entrepreneur, founded the educational web Edhole.com in 2011 to provide students with free study materials. However, it took him two years to get the necessary results, revealing a gap in the fragmented industry that presented him with a great opportunity.

According to Founder and CEO Imaran, “the largest hurdle was that small website design businesses had difficulty with timely delivery and the quality of their goods due to the lack of a famous brand in the website design sector.”

To fill these gaps, he founded CSS Founder with the goal of being a one-stop shop for all things related to website design.

“We are now focused on becoming the website building destination for all sorts of businesses, and that is our primary and exclusive service,” he says.

Essentially, the entire company strategy is automated, and leads are created through everyday questions from potential consumers who find them on the internet. Almost 90% of its leads are generated organically through Google results, with the remaining 10% coming from referrals.

It operates on a project-by-project basis and offers clients the option of an annual maintenance contract (AMC), which requires clients to sign a contract with the company in order to create a website.  Later, the platform narrows its attention to the needs and deliverables.

He elaborates, “AMC is an after-sales service that a client might choose if they are happy with the deliverables.

The AMC is a long-term website renewal contract that indicates that we will renew the client’s website, establishing a long-term recurrent connection that promotes word of mouth for our company.” The firm claims that AMC and website renewal services account for 90% of its revenue. It also has AMC contracts with firms including Samsung C&T and Vigilance Hair Studio.

The startup’s primary focus is on quality, ensuring that the website is responsive, has an SSL certificate (for secure communication), is bug-free, lag-free, and loads quickly.  It also prioritizes aesthetics, with PHP Core, JavaScript, and CSS serving as key components. To prevent website hacking, the company creates safe code and regularly analyzes websites.

In the case of a security breach, the team vows to repair the problem within hours. To mention a few, CSS has worked with Hello Healthy, Tumble Dry, Gohoarding, Nicheshoe, Global Policy Insights, and Savin Communications.

CSS Founder’s fees range from Rs 10,000 to lakhs, depending on the demands and requirements, as well as the customisations needed.  The AMC charge is 30% of the overall website cost.

“However, our pricing are the most inexpensive in the business since we genuinely think that everyone should be able to afford a website,” Imaran explains.

Web design businesses in India include Acodez, TISIndia, K2BIndia, Axis Web Art, and Web Destiny, to mention a few.

“Our fundamental competency is only in website design,” Imaran argues The firm was initially bootstrapped by the founder, who invested Rs 70,000-80,000 of their money.

The startup has built over 12,000 webpages since its debut. It produced Rs 2 crore in income in FY21, and Rs 4 crore in FY22, representing a 200% increase.  It is also present in Dubai, where it has created over 500 websites. The region contributes to its annual revenue of Rs 60 lakh. The team now includes more than 50 members.

Insights into the market

According to the tech websites Slowin and Techjury, there will be around 200 million active websites in 2022, and the web design and development services market will employ over 75,000 people. India’s website design business is increasing at a pace of 23% to 25% each year.

For the next three years, CSS Founder has big intentions.

Imaran says, “We want to establish a monopoly in this business that is not authoritarian, but rather a benchmark for quality and on-time delivery.”

The business hopes to generate Rs 12 crore in income by next year and Rs 100 crore in the following years. In the following year, it intends to enroll approximately 1,200 clients.

It also intends to grow its staff to 400 people in the near future. It intends to build roughly 10,000 websites every year, with the goal of reaching one lakh by 2024.

“We endeavor to create safe, secure, and customized websites that are up and running in accordance with industry trends.”

Male health tech startup  Bonatra raises Rs.5.5 crore to expand

0

A men’s wellness doctor-led IoMT startup (Internet of Medical Things), Bonatra, has raised funding of  Rs.5.5 crore. The company will use the money to expand by enhancing technology and product offerings, building the team and growing the customer base.

Bonatra, a business focused on men’s health and fitness, has secured 5.5 crores in a pre-seed round backed by ITI Growth Opportunities Fund.

ITI Growth Opportunities Fund is a venture capital fund in its early stages. Jitendra Jagadev, creator of Nestaway and Helloworld, and Rajesh Yabaji, founder of Blackbuck, both participated in the fundraising.

Bonatra was created in March 2022 by Rahul Kishore Singh (CEO), Manjari Chandra (CMO), Ramanpreet Singh (COO), and Amit Acharya (CTO) to treat chronic conditions in males. It is India’s only doctor-led IoMT (Internet of Medical Things) comprehensive health stack solution.

“As a result of dietary changes and sedentary lifestyles, the incidence of lifestyle problems in men of all ages has grown during the last decade.”

“We developed Bonatra with the intention of empowering men to take proactive actions to avoid, manage, and reverse a variety of health concerns,” stated Rahul Kishore Singh, CEO and co-founder of Bonatra.

According to the National Health Mission, noncommunicable illnesses account for 60% of all fatalities in the country.

Diabetes, thyroid illness, cardiovascular disease, and cancer are only a few examples.

According to Bonatra, the incidence of cardio-metabolic disorders in males has climbed significantly in recent years, and the risk factors remain high.

The onset of andropause, commonly known as male menopause, is accompanied by mood fluctuations, muscle loss, libido decrease, and energy reduction.

Young men frequently experience libido loss, weariness, sleeplessness, receding hairlines, low muscle mass, depression, recurrent infections, and joint aches. According to the firm, most chronic illnesses are controllable via prevention and early identification.

It provides customized, targeted lifestyle, dietary, and physical therapies to help men regulate their hormones.

This involves addressing early andropause, resolving gut dysbiosis (abnormalities in gut microorganisms), and lowering heavy metal toxicity in the body.

According to the firm, it has serviced over 1000 customers and collaborates with over 400 physicians across India.

“Bonatra is a one-of-a-kind combination of medical research, data science, and technology.”

Since its start in March, Bonatra has shown amazing growth, and it is clear that they are filling a significant unmet need in the healthcare market.

Mohit Gulati, managing partner of ITI Growth Opportunities Fund, said, “The brand is poised for tremendous future development and has the potential to become a category leader.”

According to the firm, the cash will be used to enhance technology and product offerings, strengthen the workforce, and grow the client base.

Jio to acquire bankrupt Reliance Communications’ assets with Rs 3,720 crore

0

The National Company Law Tribunal (NCLT) has granted approval to the take over of Reliance Infratel Ltd (RITL) by Reliance Project and Property Management Services Ltd (RP&PMSL), a subsidiary of Reliance Jio that oversees the telco’s tower and fiber business. Jio will finalize the acquisition of insolvent Reliance Communications’ tower and fiber assets by depositing Rs 3,720 crore in an escrow account at the State Bank of India (SBI).

Jio, which is rolling out 5G networks beginning with metros and larger cities and requires all towers and fiber assets for the purpose, is depositing Rs 3,720 crore in an escrow account at the State Bank of India (SBI) to complete the acquisition of bankrupt Reliance Communications’ tower and fiber assets, according to people familiar with the matter.

RITL has 178,000 route kilometers of fiber and 43,540 mobile towers across the country. The order has not yet been uploaded.

Earlier this month, Jiohad requested that the NCLT expedite the acquisition of Reliance Infratel. The issue had been stalled because there was no agreement on how the monies acquired from the transaction would be allocated among the creditors, which included SBI, Emirates Bank, and Doha Bank. Jio has sought the NCLT-Mumbai to force RTIL’s financial creditors to submit the required ‘no dues certificate’ in order to expedite the much-delayed bankruptcy resolution process. Its argument was that it needed clear control of the Reliance Infratel assets as soon as possible.

In the Reliance Infratel bankruptcy resolution procedure, RP&PMSL was the resolution applicant. It has offered a resolution proposal in November 2019 comprising a payment of Rs 3,720 crore to buy the insolvent RCom company’s tower and fiber assets.

On March 4, 2020, a panel of creditors accepted the scheme. Before its most recent appeal, RP&PMSL also said that upon payment of the resolution sum, it should be released from its commitments, with only the inter-se distribution among RTIL’s creditors remaining, subject to the result of the legal procedures in the Supreme Court. With the current ruling, RP&PMSL gets the go-ahead to take over Reliance Infratel’s assets.

While one stage of the corporate insolvency procedures involving RCom has been completed, other issues remain unresolved. The spectrum owned by the bankrupt telecom is one of the essential assets in the process.

The corporation, however, is mired in a legal dispute over this, with the Department of Telecommunications arguing that because spectrum is a national resource, it cannot be sold as part of the insolvency procedures.

Furthermore, the company’s telecom license expired last year, denying it the ability to use the spectrum it controls. Analysts noticed that after the corporation loses the license to spectrum, the asset (spectrum) has little to no value.

Under the insolvency proceedings, Indian banks, suppliers, and other creditors have lodged claims against RCom totaling around Rs86,000 crore. Axis Trustee Services Ltd sold RComunit Globalcom IDC Ltd (GIDC) to a third party earlier this month for non-repayment of debts.

Self-driving tech startup ISEE raises $40M in Peter Thiel’s VC firm led round

0

Self-driving tech startup, ISEE, has received $40 million in Series B funding round. Peter Thiel’s venture capital firm, Founders Fund (backed SpaceX, Palantir, and Stripe) led the round that also had the participation of Maersk Growth, Eniac Ventures, New Legacy, and other new and current investors.

ISEE, founded in 2017 at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) by Yibiao Zhao and Chris Baker, isn’t focused on the next-generation autonomous flying taxi or self-driving vehicle, but rather on automating the trucks used in logistics yards.

Shipping containers are stored at logistics yards as they wait… and wait… to be transferred by truck to a warehouse or distribution hub. There are currently 500,000 “yard trucks” in use across the world.

The task is difficult, repetitious, and dangerous. ISEE believes there is a better approach.

“ISEE is concentrating on logistics yards due to their economic relevance and the fact that autonomous driving is ready to operate in logistics yards now.”

That is why ISEE is already collaborating with some of the world’s top corporations, and why we funded them again,” stated Scott Nolan, Partner at Founders Fund.

The first and only firm in the logistics yard area to achieve completely autonomous operations.

ISEE Co-Founder & CEO Yibiao Zhao, says, “It turns out that a yard’s logistical nightmare is an AI roboticist’s dream.  We’ve created a one-of-a-kind technology, by combining advanced cognitive modeling, game theory, and deep learning. The technology is ideal for logistics yard challenges.”

Zhao and his colleagues created a one-of-a-kind “humanistic” AI that offers yard vehicles “common sense.”  Zhao continued, “Our self-driving technology is the market’s most advanced autonomous yard tractor offering.”

ISEE claims to be the first and only business to accomplish fully autonomous operations in the logistics yard market, with over 10,000 successful self-driving trailer transfers at client sites.

What comes next?

ISEE intends to automate 100 vehicles for companies such as BMW and logistics behemoth Maersk in the near future, with a goal of automating 1,000 in the following five years. The income of the 85-person team has increased more than 20 times in the last year alone. Co-founder, Debbie Yu, who now serves as President & COO, said, “With this additional financing and solid client pipeline, we’re delighted to extend our operations and accelerate our company growth so that we can provide our self-driving technology to more customers.”

A minority woman co-founded and leads the organization. Debbie Yu, a minority woman, who co-founded and leads ISEE, says, “Diversity, particularly in leadership, provides ISEE with a range of experience and viewpoint, allowing us to better understand and work with our broad collection of clients,”

Yu directs ISEE’s go-to-market strategy and investor engagements as President and COO.  Despite the fact that she is sometimes the only woman in the room, Yu’s upbringing in an entrepreneurial family has prepared her well. Business Insider just named her a 2022 Power Player in the Self-driving Industry.

Know how Aditya Verma turned his life around after he was stuck in a job

0

Aditya Verma, was despondent, addicted to Netflix, and eating his way to diabetes while stuck in a job he despised. He revealed how he turned his life around in a popular Twitter discussion.

We’ve all experienced times when life feels a little too much for us. Some of us turn to food for comfort, while others turn to drink, drugs, a sedentary lifestyle, and other vices. Aditya Verma (32), a former banker, went through the motions as well, but chose to make a few tweaks.

In a now-viral Twitter thread, he described what he did to get himself out of a rut, as well as the lessons he learnt along the way. The thread has over 15,000 likes and over 4000 retweets.

Aditya worked as an investment banker for nine years and claims to have been sad, nervous, and addicted during that time. He was diagnosed with pre-diabetes as a result of his lifestyle, but he believes it was the finest thing that could have happened to him.

He claims to have experienced a “full-blown meltdown” between 2018 and 2022, and that he developed a “victim mentality,” which he compares to a sickness. He describes himself as “helpless,” “constantly moaning,” and “blaming everything and everyone.”

In the next tweets, he discusses how sometimes you need a slap in the face to realize you’re too comfortable.

He remarked, “Every day felt like a year spent on the battlefields.”  But, after only 1.5 years, I don’t recognize myself or my life, and I don’t believe it very often.”

Aditya has learned the following 13 life lessons in the previous year or so:

 “Victimization is a sickness.”

Aditya describes himself as a “textbook victim,” but he no longer identifies with that image of himself.

According to him, “you will become free with radical responsibility.”

“Sometimes what you need is a slap in the face.”

He claims to have been trapped in a “self-sabotaging circle” and decided to make a change when his health and marriage began to deteriorate. 3. “You’re too at ease.”

He argues that moving out of one’s comfort zone is necessary since he went from being a “pleasure-seeking addict” to undertaking “hard” things. He claims that accomplishing difficult tasks “makes life simpler.”

“You only have power over yourself.”

Aditya claims he used to blame everything on others – his work, his employer, his stress — but now he only considers the things he can manage.

“You’re slowly destroying yourself.”

He recalls being weak and foggy-headed, unable to exercise at all, which led to pre-diabetes and painful lungs. But now that he has included physical activity into his routine, he claims to be “in [his] greatest form ever.”

“Seek assistance.”

He confesses that asking help might be frightening, and he attempted to handle everything alone for a long time. But, as he points out, the decision to go to treatment altered everything.

“Make time for yourself.”

Aditya was proud of his own business. He learnt to be alone and to avoid being distracted all the time. “Your mind is clamoring for an explanation. Pay attention,” he advises.

“Be thankful.”

He claims that through keeping a diary, “rewiring” his brain, and embracing wealth, he shifted from being “cynical” and “glass half empty” to one that fostered thankfulness.

“First and foremost, love yourself.”

He also claims that after years of disliking his own reflection and considering himself to be weak, he began to feel proud of himself for taking responsibility of his life.

“First and foremost, love yourself. If you can’t do it, why should anybody else?”

“Stop seeking happiness and start focusing on being less sad.”

Aditya, who was miserable because of his 14-hour work days and relied on excessive drinking and online gaming to cope, put his foot down by quitting his job and selling his PS4. “Elimination is potent,” he observes.

“We’re all going to perish.”

We all believe that we have all the time in the world, that there will always be tomorrow, but does time slow down for anyone?  Aditya chose to quit looking forward to tomorrow and instead prioritize meaningful family time and hard work, he adds.

“Fear is a warning flag.”

He chose to confront his concerns front on, stepping outside of his comfort zone. He resigned his job and chose to pursue what he loved most: writing.

“It will seem longer than it is.”

According to Aditya, he doesn’t  recognize the past version of himself. He struggles to comprehend how far he has progressed. He concludes his thread with the quote, “We have two lives, and the second begins when we realize we only have one.”

Is Twitter out of control over Elon Musk’s ‘extremely hardcore’ ultimatum?

0

Twitter may experience a global outage. Many employees have resigned and users are facing issues since Elon Musk acquired the micro-blogging site.

Twitter employees are leaving in droves after allegedly receiving an ultimatum from Elon Musk to either commit to working in a “very intense” approach at the firm or quit.

Another staff exodus appears to be taking place at Twitter, with many employees rejecting Elon Musk’s criteria for remaining with the firm and opting to quit. As the deadline for replying to Elon Musk’s ultimatum approached, some Twitter workers seemed to openly proclaim their intention to leave the firm.

Twitter employees began using the salute emoji, which has come to symbolise someone departing the company, on Thursday afternoon. In a tweet, one Twitter employee stated that working there was “one of the simplest decisions ever made. Choosing to leave now was the polar opposite.”

Following the deadline of 5 p.m. Eastern Time, an internal Slack channel at the firm was swamped with staff employees sending the salute emoji to signal they had opted not to sign Musk’s promise and would be leaving the company.

According to an email Musk sent to colleagues on Wednesday, surviving Twitter workers had until 5 p.m. ET on Thursday to determine if they wanted to be a part of the culture Musk plans to impose at the social media company or essentially leave.

A recent Twitter ex-executive dubbed the personnel departures on Thursday a “mass exodus.”

As a result of the employees’ departures, Twitter’s headquarters will be temporarily shuttered on Thursday evening, and credential access will be prohibited until Monday. During the mass layoffs earlier this month, Musk’s team shuttered off offices out of concern for employee safety and a reported fear that leaving employees might try to hurt the firm on their way out.

As he put it, “This will entail working long hours at a high level of intensity. Only outstanding achievement will result in a passing grade.”

The ultimatum comes after Musk reportedly directed senior Twitter employees to scour internal Slack conversations for disloyal colleagues to sack. Musk appears to be haunted by the fear that disloyal staff may harm the platform.

As a result, staff at Twitter are scurrying to erase Slack communications and emoji replies that may be perceived as disparaging of Musk, giving him an excuse to dismiss them.

According to a Twitter employee, employees who were dismissed likely wrote unfavorable remarks and postings in the internal Slack channel ‘Social Watercooler,’ where staff members routinely convened to speak online and spread rumors about the company.

Musk dismissed up to 20 Twitter software engineers and developers when it was discovered that they had questioned management. Twitter has dismissed nearly 3,700 individuals in the last two weeks under Musk’s leadership, and a wave of high-ranking executives have quit.

VentureBlick, a funding platform that connects healthcare entrepreneurs with medical investors, has begun a global search to find potential healthcare businesses for the medical community to review, advise, and support. Only companies with the support of a significant group of medical experts with appropriate subject expertise will be able to raise financing through the platform.

Many of the final clients for healthcare businesses are medical professionals – doctors, clinicians, and healthcare industry experts – who may also be investors and advisors.

The platform enables the worldwide medical community to conduct systematic, large-scale, and cross-border medical investment evaluations. The fundraising process also functions as a market validation process, providing businesses with cash, market information, and consumer validation all at the same time.

The Healthcare Startup Search is available at www.ventureblick.com through January 4, 2023. It is accessible to early-stage entrepreneurs aiming to attract up to $5 million in funding for innovative solutions in all areas of healthcare.

Shortlisted firms will be presented on VentureBlick’s funding platform when it debuts in early 2023, following screening and due diligence. Once the companies have received a particular amount of investment from medical investors, general investors – accredited investors who want to engage in healthcare but do not have a medical background – will be able to participate.

VentureBlick’s innovative methodology expands access while improving the quality and volume of investment in the healthcare business.

Chris Lee, Founder & CEO of VentureBlick, said, “After months of preparation, we are now ready to start off this worldwide search. We want to bring the most promising businesses to light and connect them with healthcare professionals interested in investing in and growing them. Our mission is to connect companies with the proper people and resources so that they can get things right the first time. This is especially vital before they embark on their lengthy path of growth.”

The first ten firms selected from this search will receive a marketing package worth $10,000, which will include assistance in optimizing their pitch deck, creating a video, and polishing their pitch narratives before they are given to investors.

This is in addition to any money they may obtain as a result of being featured on the VentureBlick platform.

Through its fundraising platform and professional network, VentureBlick promises to change healthcare fundraising. It connects early-stage healthcare entrepreneurs with medical investors who can verify ideas, support, and fund them without diluting startup ownership. Its professional community also offers startup consulting services, networking opportunities, and need-based operational services.
