Abhishek Pathak, director of “Drishyam 2,” adds, “The industry’s opinion changes towards you after you give a hit film”

0

In addition to directing and producing numerous films, including “Pyaar Ka Punchnama,” Abhishek Pathak received a National Award for his short film “Boond.” The huge success of the first film has changed that, and he will now be remembered mostly for directing “Drishyam 2.” In an exclusive interview, the filmmaker discusses how he approached this sequel in a different way, his relationship with Ajay Devgn over the years, and how this success will affect his future.

What do you think about “Drishyam 2’s” incredible commercial and critical success?

Although we had anticipated positive comments, I would say that they have increased by three to four times. We love it since it has evolved beyond our expectations. It has received unqualified acclaim from everyone, which is a great experience for any director. We are overjoyed to have reached Rs 150 crore. We were lacking any excellent material in Hindi films that could draw those audiences. I am, nonetheless, incredibly overwhelmed by the number of people who are attending “Drishyam 2” screenings. Like a festival, it has evolved.

Additionally, despite having seen the Malayalam version before, several viewers were nonetheless interested in seeing this. A very small fraction of the audience has seen the Malayalam version with subtitles. Hindi speakers dominate the audience in our nation, and they are unable to read English subtitles. The path of Vijay Salgaonkar’s character is one that the Hindi audience can relate to more. The fact that so many people eagerly anticipated the sequel and welcomed it The fact that “Drishyam” has been remembered for the past seven years, and every year the date of October 2 sort of became an event for the movie, has also contributed to the success of the sequel. The movie didn’t need to be stressed to anyone. We had to make this film as soon as we read the script. We simply needed to improve on the original version’s entertainment value for viewers in the Hindi belt. We had a good feeling it would work, so I’m glad they received more than they anticipated.

What did you add to the movie as your “touch” after being hired to direct the sequel?

My absolute favorite genre is the thriller. In thrillers, we frequently overlook the importance of visual storytelling by not telling the tale from that perspective. However, while we were merely drafting the script, we were certain that every shot had a gripping component and that viewers wouldn’t bat an eye. Since the beginning, every single actor has changed. The film’s handling was our main concern. The screenplay needed to be sharper and crisper. Our goal was to make the photo either interesting or educational. We removed everything else. Therefore, I believe that, as a director, I’ve worked on everything from the film’s appearance to its clarity, color tone, and acting.

After reading the script, Akshaye Khanna decided to change his original “nay” to a “yes.” At the conclusion of the movie, are all of your actors satisfied?

For them to perform, we have all the characters that have been so exquisitely written. Receiving such a role on paper is a joy for any actor, and receiving such a performance in return is an honor for me. Because of this, everyone benefits (smiles).

You two have a history together. Ajay Devgn In addition to being a participant in the first installment, he is also the director. If an actor has a greater understanding of something, is working with him easier for you?

For a long time, Ajay Sir has observed me. He has known me since I was a little child and has watched me work as a production assistant, an intern, and a director for my short film, Drishyam 2, which won the National Award. He knows where I’ve been. Being quite imaginative, he was pretty forthcoming about what he was getting into. He had great judgment and could understand my vision even without viewing the rushes. And he could see what he would do in the follow-up much more clearly. All of the information was included in the screenplay, so when Ajay Sir heard the narrative, he had no queries at all. As a result, Ajay Sir and I did not have any disagreements about either the performance or the writing. Through the entire movie, we were largely in agreement.

Do you believe, however, that “Drishyam 2” will alter how people view you? To what extent does a hit like this actually matter?

A hit is the ultimate goal for every artist. In addition to the blockbuster status that everyone strives for, we also have a positive critical reception. Once you deliver something like this, I believe that the industry’s image of you changes. They think your film is fantastic now, in their opinion. It makes me really happy. Due to the attention I’ve given to “Drishyam 2,” people will now consider my next movie seriously.

The anticipation for part three is increasingly palpable, and theories are being made. So, what can people expect from you going forward?

In anticipation of parts 3 and 4, people are making theories. There is definitely a need for Part 3, but for now, we are content that we have surpassed the 100 crore mark. We will discuss possible solutions for phase three after we get some downtime. We are simply taking advantage of every second we have right now. I already have a few items prepared for my subsequent task. Currently, I’m considering my future move. In order to produce another narrative that will be as well received once I present this one, I need to put my mind to it.

Sundar Pichai, CEO of Google and Alphabet, Awarded Padma Bhushan; Says ‘India Is A Part Of Me’

0

Sundar Pichai, CEO of Google and Alphabet, accepted the Padma Bhushan award from the Indian ambassador to the United States and said, “India is a part of me and I carry it with me wherever I go.”

The Indian-American Pichai was honoured with the Padma Bhushan in the Commercial and Industrial Achievement category in 2022. Pichai, who was born in Madurai, was selected as one of the 17 winners earlier this year.

On Friday, he was honoured with India’s third highest civilian award in San Francisco, surrounded by his loved ones.

“I am deeply grateful to the Indian government and the people of India for this immense honour. It is incredibly meaningful to be honoured in this way by the country that shaped me,” 50-year-old Pichai said while accepting the award from India’s Ambassador to the US, Taranjit Singh Sandhu.

“India is a part of me. I carry it with me wherever I go. (Unlike this beautiful award which I will keep somewhere safe),” he said.

“I was fortunate to grow up in a family that cherished learning and knowledge, with parents who sacrificed a lot to make sure I had opportunities to explore my interests,” Pichai said.

T V Nagendra Prasad, who is India’s consul general in San Francisco, was also there.

When asked to illustrate the transformative power of technology, Sandhu pointed to Pichai.

“He has been making commendable efforts towards making digital tools, and skills accessible to across various segments of the society in different parts of the globe,” he said.

Sandhu wished that Google would fully take advantage of the digital revolution taking place in India, recalling Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s goal of technology that combines the 3Ss — speed, simplicity, and service.

It was incredible, Pichai said, to return to India so many times over the years and witness the tremendous development of technology.

What started in India is now helping people all across the world, from digital payments to speech technologies, he said.

“I look forward to continuing the great partnership between Google and India, as we work together to bring the benefits of technology to more people,” he said.

Pichai noted that more individuals, even those in remote areas, have access to the internet than ever before.

“Prime Minister Modi’s Digital India vision has certainly been an accelerator for that progress and I’m proud that Google continues to invest in India, partnering with governments, businesses, and communities over two transformative decades,” he said

“Every new technology that arrived at our doorstep made our lives better. And that experience put me on a path to Google, and the chance to help build technology that improves the lives of people all over the world,” he said.

To hear Pichai tell it, the future is ripe with possibility.

According to Pichai, “It’s an amazing opportunity to build consensus on strengthening the global economy by advancing an internet that is open, connected, secure, and works for everyone. That’s a goal we share, and are committed to advancing with you.”

On Thursday, India became the official new leader of the Group of 20.

“I am grateful for the opportunity to do this work together and bring the benefits of technology to more people,” Pichai said.

Using an improvement in machine learning, Google this year enabled support for 24 additional languages in its translation service. Eight are original Indian tongues.

“It means so much to see how people can access information and knowledge in their preferred language, and see the world open up to them in new ways. That’s why I continue to be so optimistic about technology, and why I believe India can and must continue to lead,” he added.

Suryakumar Yadav is the latest T20 superstar on a worldwide scale: Brett Lee

0

When talking about the batting in T20I cricket, Suryakumar Yadav of India must be addressed. The most recent addition to the list is renowned Australian fast-bowler Brett Lee. Everyone enjoys the in-form batter’s ability to play 360-degree and astonishing shots.
Lee believes that the top-ranked T20I batsman doesn’t need to make any changes to his approach; he should just keep doing what he is doing.

“One of my favourite things about the T20 World Cup was SKY. He approaches batting with the same attitude. Along with substantial runs, he would eventually help Team India win a World Cup. It’s fun to watch him play. I wouldn’t offer SKY any suggestions. Keep moving forward with your existing plan of action, don’t change it, don’t complicate things, and take care of yourself “Lee made a statement on his YouTube page.
Surya also holds the record for the most runs scored in the format in a single season (1,164 runs in 31 matches). In the game’s condensed form in 2022, Surya garnered attention by exhibiting breathtaking strokes that had previously been seen by relatively few individuals.

At the Bay Oval in Mount Maunganui versus New Zealand, Suryakumar scored 111 not out off 51 balls, thrilling cricket fans once more just after the T20 World Cup.

“India did not win the T20 World Cup as a result of high television viewership. I’m speaking of Suryakumar Yadav, of course. The new T20 world champion is now him. What a fantastic few months he had on the big stage.”

“He has shown the areas on Australian grass wickets where the ball glides through. He chooses his shots like a master at chess, and he doesn’t worry about anything. The pleasure on his face while he plays it is precious, and his performance is astonishing “astonished Lee exclaimed.
Regarding Yadav’s shot-playing style, which sets him apart from other players, Lee asserted that his game basics are sound and pleaded with Rohit Sharma and Rahul Dravid to give him the chance to thrive for India in the future.

“I like how he makes the shots that seem to be impossible because he has his fundamentals down pat. He does not simply walk out there and try to hit a ball that isn’t there. Because of his outstanding technique, he is without a doubt a player of the future.”

“Rahul Dravid and Rohit Sharma can be trusted to just let him be who he has to be,” The sky would clear, and as a result, India would reach many more heights in the years to come.

Simple, natural tips to strengthen & grow your nails

0

There could be several reasons why your fingernails have stopped growing. Find out some simple and natural tips to help you achieve strong and healthy nails in no time

How frustrating is it when you like long and thick nails but don’t know how to grow nails faster? Your nails break at the slightest pressure, and you are overwhelmed by all the answers, solutions, and remedies offered online.

However, it would help first to find out why your nails are not growing. Even though we want to flaunt gorgeously long and strong fingernails, one or two nails always break or chip! So, don’t let it break your spirit!

There could be several reasons why your fingernails have stopped growing. Do you engage in any of these activities?

1. Bite Your Nails

If you’re guilty of chewing your nails on a daily basis, it’s time to quit, immediately! I really mean it! This behavior leads to various bacterial infections that slow down the growth of the skin and nails in that area. Make a deliberate effort not to bite your nails by keeping them polished.

2. Remove the base coat

When you apply nail paint, make sure to not skip the base coat. This works as a barrier between your nail polish and the top layer of the nail. 3. Chip Off Your Nail Polish

At all costs, avoid doing this! When you chip off nail polish, you’re most likely pulling off the upper layer of your nail. This will simply weaken and brittle your nails.

3. Use Gel And Acrylics Excessively

If you visit the salon too frequently for gel or acrylic nails, you are not allowing your natural nails to grow in strength. Gels and acrylics are great once in a while, but don’t use them on a regular basis because they will interfere with the natural growth process. What chance do you have if you prevent your nails from growing in the first place?!

Here are a few pointers to help you achieve strong and healthy nails in no time:

1. Lime Juice

Lemons contain Vitamin C, which promotes healthy nail development. Lemons, which function as a bleaching agent, also aid in the removal of yellow nail discoloration.

Method No. 1

How Do You Do It?

Blend 1 tablespoon lemon juice and 3 tablespoons olive oil in a mixing bowl. Microwave the solution for about 20 seconds, then soak your nails in it for 10 minutes.

How frequently?: Do this on a daily basis.

Method No. 2

How Do You Do It?

Another option is to massage a piece of lemon on your nails for about five minutes before rinsing them with warm water.

How Frequently: Every day.

Tip – Don’t use lemons if you have any cuts or hangnails as it may sting.

2. Virgin Coconut Oil

Coconut oil provides nutrients that moisturize and nourish the nails and the skin around them. As a result, healthy and strong nail growth is ensured. Coconut oil can also be used to treat fungal infections in the nails.

How Do You Do It?

In a bowl, warm some extra virgin coconut oil and massage it into your nails and fingers. Use circular motions to massage. This increases blood circulation, which promotes nail development.

How Often?: Before going to bed every night.

3. Orange juice

Orange juice contains vitamin C, which aids in the creation of collagen, which keeps your nails strong and healthy.

How To Do It?

Squeeze the juice from an orange into a mixing bowl. Soak your nails for 10 minutes before washing them. Don’t forget to adequately hydrate them.

How frequently?: Once a day.

4. Olive Oil

It is important to nourish and moisturize your nails in order to maintain them healthy and growing strong. Olive oil includes Vitamin E, which stimulates blood circulation and encourages nail development.

How Do You Do It?

Heat up some olive oil and massage it into your nails and cuticles for around five minutes. Wear gloves and let it sit overnight. Alternatively, you can soak your nails in warm olive oil for fifteen to twenty minutes.

How Often?: Every day.

Topical therapies alone are insufficient! If you desire healthy and beautiful nails, you need include certain items in your diet.

Eggs, beans, and sunflower seeds are all beneficial to bone and nail growth. Eggs are high in Vitamin D, B12, and Biotin. Biotin does wonders for strengthening and softening the nails. Minerals present in oats, such as copper and zinc, are essential for bone and nail health.

Salmon includes nutrients that are claimed to make the bones and nails strong. Sunflower seeds include elements such as copper and manganese, which promote the development of connective tissues in the bones.

0

With three anticipated films, Shah Rukh Khan will dominate the silver screen in 2023. He spent a lot of time filming “Dunki,” a movie directed by Rajkumar Hirani that is supposedly about immigration.

He recently discussed “Dunki” in detail and described it as a “huge journey.”

My movie is called Donkey in English. However, the word is pronounced “Dunki” in one region of India. Punjabis pronounce it Dunki. How much should I reveal to you about the movie? One of our nation’s most talented directors, Mr. Raju Hirani, directed the movie. It was penned by the talented Abhijat Joshi. When you finally hear the calling, it is a narrative of people who desire to return home. It is a humorous movie. His (Mr. Hirani’s) movies always feature a blend of humor and strong nationalistic feelings. Therefore, it is a long voyage for me, and the movie travels to other parts of the world before returning to India, as Shah Rukh Khan said in an interview with Deadline. In this entertaining film, Taapsee Pannu is paired with SRK.

Additionally, the actor discussed “Pathaan” and stated, “I have never done an action film.” I’ve performed in some extremely touching love stories, social dramas, and bad guy roles, but no one has ever hired me. Since I’m 57, I decided to focus on action movies for the next ten years. This action film, directed by Siddharth Anand, will debut in January 2023.
